This role as Lead Cloud Engineer for a fast growing client for a team that provides solutions that will help developers focus on development and business requirements.

Position: Principal Cloud Engineer Location: Galway - hybrid working policy Permanent with great benefits You will: Build applications using Go and Python.
Extend Kubernetes capabilities, including building operators and custom resources.
Work hands-on with cloud technologies in AWS and/or Azure.
Develop scalable cloud applications while adhering to software engineering best practices.
Champion the DevOps culture through Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment.
Skills: Proven experience in building applications with Go and Python.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes core concepts and hands-on experience extending its functionalities.
Expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS and/or Azure.
Solid experience in building scalable cloud applications.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment practices.
A genuine passion for DevOps culture.
Bonus Skills: Experience with GitOps-based tooling, such as ArgoCD.
Excellent communication skills, with a knack for collaborating with business stakeholders to promote architectural excellence and best practices.
