This role is for a cloud-native engineer with a solid grasp of Go or Python and strong experience building scalable applications in the cloud. If you're comfortable working with Kubernetes at more than just the surface level and enjoy solving technical problems with clean, maintainable code, keep reading.

The role is with a multi-national finance organisation.

What you'll be working on:

  • Building production-grade applications in Go or Python
  • Extending Kubernetes through custom resources and operators
  • Designing and building scalable systems in AWS and/or Azure
  • Applying software engineering best practices with an eye on maintainability and performance
  • Delivering through modern CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Working in a DevOps-driven environment, where infrastructure and code go hand in hand

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with GitOps tooling, especially ArgoCD
  • Experience driving adoption of good engineering practices across teams
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both engineers and business stakeholders

This role is suited to someone who thrives in a modern engineering environment, understands cloud-native principles, and takes pride in writing well-structured, well-tested code. You'll be contributing to a team that values clean architecture, continuous improvement, and shared ownership of infrastructure and delivery.

Salary: 85-95K + 20% bonus

Hybrid: one week in office, three WFH
