Senior Manufacturing Engineer – GalwayResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of Engineers and Technicians, fostering collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.Apply your deep knowledge of laser processing technologies—particularly laser welding and laser cutting—to drive manufacturing performance and product quality.Manage New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring a seamless transition from prototype to full-scale production.Champion Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to achieve tangible improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and service.Take a structured, data-driven approach to troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing challenges.Identify, evaluate, and implement emerging process technologies to enhance competitiveness and operational efficiency.Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within your team through coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives.Contribute to the success of a global leader in the medical device industry, with opportunities to influence innovation and growth.QualificationsBachelor's degree (Level 8 or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.Minimum of 5 years' practical engineering experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.Proven expertise in laser processing, including laser welding and cutting, with a track record of advancing manufacturing capabilities.Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to develop and inspire high-performing teams.Strong background in continuous improvement, focused on enhancing efficiency and optimizing processes.Skilled in data analysis and structured problem-solving to address technical and operational challenges.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.Additional qualifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management are highly advantageous.#J-*****-Ljbffr
