Ballymaloe House Hotel, Shanagarry, Co.Cork is currently recruiting for a part-time Night Porter to join our team.Flexibility is essential for this role, night shifts and weekends are an essential part of this role.Job Description and main duties:Receive handover from Duty Manager and night reception teamWork closely with Reception night team and assist the guest with special requests.Adhere to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.Hotel night dutiesKeep common areas clean and tidyGive advice to the guests on local activities and places to visitAssist with furniture or equipment moves, and rooms setup for eventsResponsibility for the cleanliness of the reception area, front of house terrace and common rooms areas on the ground floor.Room service to the guest rooms in accordance with the Hotel PolicyTo maintain open communication line with the team and the guestsBe aware of sustainable principles at the Ballymaloe House and be cost consciousCarry out additional duties as requested by the manager on dutyOn occasions, support the Restaurant teamDemonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential informationAdhere to Health & Safety, Fire and Security proceduresBallymaloe House is an Equal Opportunities Employer.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsOn-site parkingAbility to commute/relocate:Midleton, CO.Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
