Audit / Practice Senior | Dún Laoghaire
Our client, a well-regarded accounting firm near Dún Laoghaire, is seeking a Practice Accountant/Audit Senior to join their team.
Reporting to the Audit Partners, you will lead and conduct audits across various businesses, including large-ticket assignments (company T/O circa €500,000).
The firm has recently secured new clients in the financial services sector, offering opportunities to work with organizations typically inaccessible to SME firms.
The firm utilizes a paperless audit system, allowing most work to be performed from the office, reducing the need for off-site work.
They offer an excellent work/life balance, flextime, a generous remuneration package, and a friendly, collaborative environment.
This role may suit a recently qualified auditor or an Audit Senior aiming for a management position.
Key Responsibilities:
Auditing a variety of clients, from SMEs to large groups
Managing and leading audits from planning to completion
General practice work, including accounts preparation, tax, and company work
Ad hoc tasks as needed
About You:
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
Familiar with relevant accounting and auditing standards
Team player with strong communication and client management skills
Knowledge of Caseware software is a plus
Proven ability to train and mentor junior staff
