Responsibilities include:
Responsible for infrastructure as code (IAC) design, best practices, development, monitoring and alerting, continuous integration, and automated deployments.
Collaboration with Development Team:
Design cloud-native scalable solutions from proof of concept to production, and impart DevOps knowledge to broaden team capabilities.
Engagement with Cloud Architects:
Contribute to AWS environment reviews to improve performance and manage costs, ensuring a stable and flexible infrastructure aligned with business needs.
Cloud Strategy Liaison:
Act as the primary liaison for cloud strategy across departments like Security, Compliance, and Business Units.
Learning and Best Practices:
Stay updated with new technologies and promote DevOps and Cloud First practices.
Industry Review:
Review industry and cloud developments to leverage advantages for Aer Lingus.
Your qualifications and key criteria
We are looking for an individual with experience / qualifications in the following areas:
Leading design, build, and release processes for multiple environments in AWS and on-prem servers.
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code and Cloud Technologies, especially AWS.
Experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Packer, Jenkins, Ansible, Atlantis, and monitoring tools.
Experience with Kubernetes and release management tools.
Knowledge of Agile and PCD methodologies.
Expertise in AWS services such as WAF, CloudFront, API Gateway, EC2.
Experience with Red Hat and Amazon Linux.
Continuous delivery experience on large projects, with the ability to lead improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work across teams, assertive, and focused.
High ethical standards and integrity.
Eligibility to work in the EU, pass security vetting, and hold a valid passport.
