Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled technical engineer to join our Production Service Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues within our cloud infrastructure and application stack.
  • Drive proactive solutions to prevent repeatable issues.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to improve system design and drive initiatives that enhance the reliability and performance of cloud infrastructure.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of automation and scalability.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise technical systems support, operations, and development.
  • Good knowledge of Linux systems and coding skills in languages like JavaScript, Python, Java, and Bash.
  • Understanding of networking services and protocols, including Routing, Load Balancing, DNS, SNMP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, etc.
  • Working knowledge of databases like Postgres, MySQL, Maria DB, Oracle, and web application/API development and operations experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analysis, and problem-solving skills, with experience working with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP, or OpenStack.
  • Metric-driven mindset and strong leadership capabilities.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience working with Container and Container Orchestration Platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge in nginx, Kafka, Grafana, Prometheus, Ansible, Puppet, Terraform.
  • Soft Skills: self-motivated, customer-focused, team-first attitude, and uncompromising attention to detail.
