Overview Lead Planner/Scheduler Opportunity for 2025 At PM Group Cork, we have a large team of dedicated Planners and Schedulers who are both site and office-based. This impressive team has over 200 years of combined experience between them. We are looking for a Senior Project Planner to join this great team as we have secured many large-scale projects this year. We have long-term opportunities with strong potential for continuity of work. As a Lead Planner/Scheduler, you will b ring your significant experience to develop, coordinate, integrate and manage complex schedules on a diverse of projects. The successful candidate will have suitable experience in leading and managing complex project schedules through their full project life cycle and working with multi-discipline Engineering, Design, Construction Management and Commissioning & Qualification teams . In particular, we would like to hear from candidates with a strong ability to develop end-to-end schedules at early stages of projects, and who can garner the necessary information interactively from all stakeholders. This role is based at our Cork office - with a hybrid work pattern. Join us in 2025 Responsibilities To be successful in this role, you will have experience of the following Overseeing large complex process projects (100M+). Directing the Planning project team and mentoring new hires & graduates Delivering across project design phases as well as construction & commissioning. Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the Client Establishing project objectives in line with the client and ensuring goals & timelines are achieved Execution of projects via an established Quality and Management system Responsible for development and management of project schedules and project controls tools Identification of project milestones, monitor & report on same Chair / Host Interactive Planning Workshops Critical Path development & analysis Liaise with the project management team with regular schedule performance status reports Establish project schedule resource requirements Develop and communicate tools for the target completion of project goals Provides performance updates/reports views for identification of variances and corrective action Get in touch with us if you'd like to work as a Planner/Scheduler on similar types of projects.
