We form part of the MHL Hotel Collection, a renowned portfolio of well known, high profile Hotels throughout Ireland and operate under the Marriott International, Autograph Collection.
JOB FUNCTIONS: Ordering, receiving and storage.
Assist in controlling stock levels of food, beverage and Misc.
items.
Fulfilling daily beverage requisitions.
Assist in receiving all goods inwards, checking purchase order quantities against delivered quantities.
Recording returns and assist in following up on credits to be received from the suppliers.
Use Kelsius to record food temperature.
Work closely with the Executive Chef to assist in preparation of daily food flash.
Assist month-end food, beverage and Miscellaneous stocktakes.
Prepare POs for approval in Procure Wizard.
Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Previous purchasing, inventory or logistics experience an advantage, ideally in the hotel industry Comfortable using Excel and IT software applications Have a positive attitude to work.
Ability to multi-task.
Detail orientated.
Excellent communication skills.
Can work on own initiative.
