The Team at OHanlon & Farrell Contracts Ltd have promoted the company as one of Northern Irelands long established Building Contractors with nearly 40 years of valuable experience within numerous sectors, including the Industrial, Commercial and Domestic Construction sectors, throughout Ireland and UK.*Key Roles & Responsibilities:*We are recruiting a experienced Site Managers for a permanent position based on a live site in for immediate start, where you will take ownership & be responsible for the following key items:Responsible for all elements of SHEQ on site Including All Operatives are working safely on site & adherence to HSA rules & regulations.Working closely alongside the Contracts Manager to adhere to the construction Programme including the effective sequencing of the various trades on site to maximize quality and minimize reworking, while monitoring resources, labour, plant, site set-up and other overheads.Liaising with clients and reporting on daily progress, professional staff (such as Design Team Members, Key Project Staff & Utility Providers.Supervising on Site Contracted staff & daily management of Sub-Contractors & Labour Staff.Making daily safety Inspections are completed & ensuring construction and site safety is always adhered to.Preparing Site reports for reporting back progress to Contracts Manager & ensuring that all works are being completed on time, cost & quality basis.Monitoring the progress of work to meet weekly & monthly deadlines.Ensuring work processes meet ROI building regulations.Responsible for material take off measures from Site, in-conjunction with the Company Buyer, to ensure that all materials are on site in a timely manner to meet the Build Programme.Liaising with Design Team members of accurate collation of BCAR Handover & Compliance Documentation in-conjunction with the Contracts Manager.Being proactive to on Site spot any Design Clashes & liaising with all parties to deal with these efficiently without impacting on the progress of the works on site & Build Programme.*Experience:*Demonstratable Experience in dealing with Local Authority Connections i.e.: Storm Water Connections into Local Authority Main line provisions.Demonstratable Experience of Irish Water (Uisce ireann) requirements for Installations & connections of new Watermain & Foul Line provisions.Demonstratable Experience in the delivery of Residential Housing Schemes.Proficient in the collation of QA Checks on-site from Sub-Structure to Superstructure & Internal Fit Out packages.*Requirements:*Candidates should have 5+ years Site Management experience.Strong Knowledge of Timberframe Residential Schemes.First Aider Trained & Relevant CSR/CSCS Trainer to Site Manager Level.Ability to work on own initiative.Self-motivated and dedicated to meet weekly and monthly targets.Analytical and decision-making skills.Proficient with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific softwareExcellent written and oral presentation skills.Experience in Irish Water Regulations & Compliance Legislations.Valid Driving License.*What Youll Receive (Benefits):*30 Days Annual Leave.Company Vehicle & Fuel Card.PensionTraining & Development.Excellent Career Progression Opportunities.Gym Membership or Alternative Wellness ProgramInterested??Please send your CV directly via the link provided.*Skills:*Strong Commercial Awareness Strong IT Skills Technical Knowledge*Skills:*Construction Site Management First aid Safety Management Managing staff
