We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to manage and deliver civil engineering and construction projects across a range of sites in Kildare.Responsibilities:Project & Site ManagementOversee the planning, organisation, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish.Allocate resources effectively, including labour, equipment, subcontractors, and materials.Monitor progress against programme, budgets, and quality requirements.Prepare and present site progress reports to senior management and clients.Site Supervision & LeadershipSupervise and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers.Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior staff.Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with HSQE standards at all times.Stakeholder & Client ManagementLiaise with clients, engineers, architects, and surveyors to ensure smooth project delivery.Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, resolving issues as they arise.Ensure clear communication across all parties on site.Technical & Contractual OversightInterpret project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.Oversee temporary and permanent works, ensuring certification and compliance.Work with the commercial team/quantity surveyors on valuations, variations, and claims.Ensure all permits, licences, and regulatory approvals are in place.Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE)Implement and monitor site-specific safety plans.Ensure compliance with company, legal, and environmental requirements.Identify risks early and take proactive measures to mitigate them.Requirements:Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification/experience.Minimum 2 years' experience in a Site Agent, Site Manager, or similar supervisory role within civil engineering or construction.Strong track record of delivering projects on time, safely, and within budget.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.In-depth knowledge of construction methods, standards, and contract management.Full clean Irish/UK/EU driving licence.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €52,******-€81,****** per yearBenefits:FlexitimeWork Location: In person
