Overview
Entry Level / Junior Technical Writer at Clearwater Analytics (CWAN).
You will work under the Team Lead of the Technical Content team to create internal and client-facing documentation that clearly explains how to use our products and supports the interactive courses we build.
The role emphasizes clear, concise writing and collaboration with subject matter experts.
Responsibilities
Create original product documentation and update existing content with curated information.
Produce technical documentation for software developers where needed.
Maintain internal resources such as Acronym and Jargon Guide, video library, and style guide.
Assist in producing client documentation, including user guides, release notes, and embedded application help (e.g., tooltips).
Qualifications/Experience
0–4 years of experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Fast learner and collaborative team member.
Three Cs: Consistent, Concise, Clear.
Tools/Skills
Confluence experience is a plus.
Markdown is a plus; Tailwinds is an added bonus.
Ability to organize projects; Jira exposure is a plus.
Content/graphics/video tools experience (e.g., SnagIt, Canva, Loom, Adobe Creative Cloud).
Taxonomy, hierarchy, and templating knowledge; UX writing interest.
HTML/CSS a plus; familiarity with code structure (Java and/or Python) a plus; GitLab branching a plus.
