OverviewCivils Foreman – Cunningham is an Ireland-based award-winning building and civil engineering contractor with a track record across multiple sectors including healthcare, education, infrastructure and residential.We are committed to delivering quality solutions and offering exciting career opportunities with learning, development and progression potential.We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Civils Foreman to join our high performing team.REPORTING TO: Site ManagerLOCATION: Dun Laoghaire, DublinCONTRACT TYPE: Full-time, permanentHOURS: Monday – FridayResponsibilitiesCo-ordinating and managing all direct labour, subcontractors, and trades.Ensuring all subcontractors, trades and labour have adequate resources to complete works according to a tight schedule.Promote a safe work culture.Communicating and ensuring compliance with the Company QHSE policies and procedures.Facilitate mandatory safety toolbox talk meetings.Participate in safety/incident investigations as necessary.Ensuring that plant and equipment checks are carried out on site as required.Communication of the job to and with the crews involved.Assigning crew tasks and resolving issues between crew members.Maintaining work standards and outlining behavioural expectations to ensure crew morale and productivity.Periodically reassessing daily goals to meet forecasted production.Overseeing the execution of the work, including quality and production, ensuring that the crew works to job specifications following all plans.Inspecting and measuring completed work.Maintaining site foreman's log & site reports.Reporting on work progress as and when requested.Establish and promote best quality practice.The CandidateQualifications & Experience:Must be in possession of a valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.Site-based experience including working in a fast paced and pressured environment adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.Extensive site experience of civils & Utilities including Power, Water & SewageFull driving licence and access to own transport.Skills & Attributes:Ability to interpret drawings.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Good analytical and problem-solving skillsWillingness to travel to meet the demands of the role.BenefitsAs part of the Cunningham team, you will be offered the following employee benefits in addition to your market leading salary:Pension Scheme31 days Annual LeaveLife Assurance PolicyEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFlexible Working PolicyWellbeing EventsCompany Occupational HealthSocial EventsTeam Development DaysOngoing Training & DevelopmentBespoke career pathwaysSupport for Chartership PathwaysState-of-the-art office facilitiesOn-Site Car ParkingProfessional Membership SupportBranded clothingTo apply for this role, please visit the following page to find out more and share your CV with us today: Cunningham is an equal opportunities employer and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons.#J-*****-Ljbffr
