Responsibilities:
Providing care and support to service users based on their individual needs and preferences.
Assisting with basic skills such as feeding, washing, dressing.
Encouraging and supporting service users to engage in their preferred activities.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and family members to ensure the highest level of care is provided.
Demonstrating empathy and compassion towards others.
Requirements:
Minimum of a level 7 or 8 degree in Social Care.
At least 3 months social care experience.
CORU registration.
knowledge and experience of working with young people with mental health problems and developmental conditions required.
Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
