Requirements:Minimum 2 years Reception experience is requiredExcellent communication skills both face to face and over the phone.Ability to work on own initiative, work autonomously and as part of a team.Highly organised and capable of carrying out general administration duties when requiredExcellent customer service skillsStrong interpersonal and organisational skillsThe ability to work well under pressure and within a busy fast-paced environmentFluent English essentialKey Duties & Responsibilities:To ensure all guests receive a genuine, friendly, courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay.To anticipate guests' needs whenever possible and to enhance quality service and guest satisfaction.To carry out all departmental tasks, duties and checklistsTo adhere to cash controls and proceduresTo assist Reception Team in day-of-arrival inventory management, requests and communicate maintenance tasksTo maintain good liaisons and communications with management and Accommodation Department.To maximise all sales opportunities and occupancyTo ensure all clients are treated with the highest of respect and are dealt with in the most professional mannerTo develop and maintain professional communication & service standards, towards clients, colleagues, and visitorsTo uphold the integrity of the company at all times; to demonstrate reliability and conscientiousnessTo answer any queries, requests and manage parking reservationsInspecting guest bedrooms to ensure high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughoutOpening/closing of the PremisesOther duties as requiredSchedule:Midweek - Evening shifts 2:30pm - 9pmWeekends 9am - 3:30pm and/or 2:30pm - 9pmPossibility of working 12 hour shifts on Fridays or MondaysJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, PermanentPay: From €***** per hourExpected hours: No less than 30 per weekAbility to commute/relocate:Galway City , Galway, CO.Galway H91Y2EW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Hotel Receptionist: 2 years (required)Language:Fluent English (required)Work Location: In person
