The Team
The Chief Governance Office is a directorate within the Group with a mission of ensuring that the highest standards of excellence are maintained in the delivery of risk management, governance, legal, compliance and company secretarial activities and initiatives.
The Opportunity
The role holder will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of the EirGrid's risk management and business resilience frameworks.
This role combines risk data analysis, systems management, and ensuring that business resilience objectives are effectively integrated into the broader risk landscape.
The successful candidate will contribute to identifying and managing risks, improving resilience capabilities, and supporting data-driven insights.
About You
Qualified to degree level or professional qualification in a relevant discipline.
Preference for at least 3-5 years of experience in a risk management or analytical role.
Familiarity with designing, configuring and managing governance, risk and compliance systems (e.g.
Riskonnect, ServiceNow, Archer...).
Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g.
PowerBI, Tableau) and advanced Excel functions (e.g.
pivot tables, macros).
Strong understanding of risk management principles and frameworks
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen focus on risk data accuracy and actionable insights.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent presentation and communications skills, verbal and written.
Ability to take information and present it to stakeholders in a non-complex manner.
Knowledge and/or prior experience of working in the electricity sector and/or a regulated environment is helpful, but not essential.
