Clinical Nurse Specialist - Acute Oncology - Permanent Full-time (37.5 hours per week) The purpose of this Clinical Nurse Manager II / Clinical Nurse Specialist role is to implement a non-ED direct access route for Oncology patients experiencing disease or treatment-related complications during and up to six weeks after their treatment plan.
The appointee will be responsible for undertaking patient assessments (both virtually and in person) and acting as a point of contact for patients in the outpatient setting.
They will provide increased access to specialised oncology nursing care for patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) and Oral Anti-Cancer Medicines (OAM), aiming to enhance patient safety and minimise risks.
