Reliance Automation Ltdoffer a turnkey service in the Design, Build and Delivery of Bespoke Automated Solutions to the Life Science and High Technology Industries.We are part of the Reliance Group which is 100 years old this year and we have ambitious plans to grow the newly established Bespoke Automation facility based in Dundalk.We have an immediate requirement for aSenior Mechanical Design Engineer.RoleAs a suitably qualified Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be the subject matter expert in the mechanical design and project management of complex large scale automation systems that we deliver to our wide range of customers.Starting with a blank canvas, you will work with the cross functional engineering team in bringing a concept through all stages of development and delivering and commissioning a fully validated automation process.Our customers are global, so an ability to travel on occasion is desirable.Responsibilities with minimum 4 - 7 years experience in the following· Using Solidworks in a PDM environment, design of mechatronic equipment integrating robotics, servo systems, pneumatics, transfer systems, vision, machine guarding.· Point of contact for customer and will own the scheduling of design reviews and delivering regular project progress updates, both internally and with customer.· Pneumatic circuit schematic design desirable· Ability to work hands on when required· Generation of 2D part drawing, material selection and management of machine shops in the procurement of bespoke machined parts· Experience in collaboration on completing risk assessments and working knowledge of CE documentation framework and completion of technical files.· Ability to generate design specifications from a customer URS and follow through to execution of IQ, OQ, PQ validation protocols.Requirements· Self starter who can work on own initiative but can fully engage with a team effort in achieving a common objective.· A free thinker who has a passion for automation and will be encouraged to express their individuality in generating innovative solutions to complex problems.· Good communicator in dealing with cross functional teams, customers and suppliers.· Awareness of all the attributes required in successful project execution including budget, technical detail, schedules and team cohesiveness.· Mentoring of junior team members.Please note this is not a remote working scenario and the person is required to be on-siteExcellent salary for suitable candidateReply with CV to and visit our website for full details
