We are currently seeking a Manager, Sample Management to join our diverse and dynamic team.
As a Manager, Sample Management at ICON, you will oversee the collection, handling, storage, and distribution of clinical trial samples.
You will lead a team dedicated to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of biological samples, playing a crucial role in the success of clinical research studies.What You Will Be Doing: Managing the day-to-day operations of the sample management team, ensuring proper handling, storage, and distribution of clinical trial samples.
Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of sample management professionals to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to study protocols.
Collaborating with clinical and laboratory teams to ensure that sample management processes align with study requirements and regulatory guidelines.
Implementing and optimizing workflows for sample tracking, labeling, storage, and shipment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and other relevant regulations related to sample management.
Monitoring inventory and coordinating sample shipments to laboratories or other designated facilities while ensuring sample integrity.
Your Profile: Bachelor's degree in life sciences, laboratory management, or a related field, with significant experience in sample management within a clinical research setting.
Proven experience managing sample logistics, including handling, storage, and shipment, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and develop a team of sample management professionals.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with experience in coordinating sample collection and distribution across multiple studies.
Detail-oriented and proactive, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of sample integrity and regulatory compliance.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
