Quality & EHS ManagerA well-established engineering and fabrication company is seeking an experienced Quality & Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to oversee and drive best practices across Quality and EHS functions.This is a permanent, full-time senior management role supported by a dedicated team and offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of sectors, including cleanroom, architectural metalwork, food processing, and custom engineering.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of integrated Quality and EHS systems.This includes ensuring compliance with legal standards, internal policies, and client requirements, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness across the organization.This role is suited to a highly organized, proactive individual with strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality ManagementLead and manage the company's Business Management System (BMS) to drive quality performance.Promote a culture of quality throughout the business via training, communication, and leadership.Oversee quality systems, inspections, audits (including ISO/EN****), and performance reporting.Act as the main client contact for Turnover Packages (TOPs) and quality compliance.Develop and monitor KPIs, implement quality plans, and ensure all projects meet quality requirements.Coordinate internal and external audits, and follow up on corrective actions.EHS ManagementDevelop and implement environmental, health, and safety strategies and risk assessments.Drive EHS culture and lead training initiatives to ensure full compliance.Manage accident/incident investigations and ensure all documentation is properly recorded.Coordinate internal and externalEHS audits in line with integrated ISO systems.Oversee waste management, sustainability goals, and emergency response planning.Partner with operations to ensure site safety and regulatory compliance.Required Experience & QualificationsDegree-qualified in Quality, EHS, or a related field.Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong knowledge of ISO ****, ISO *****, and ISO ***** standards.ISO **** Lead Auditor certification.NEBOSH certification (or equivalent) is desirable.Proven experience with integrated management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence across departments.Strong interpersonal, communication, and training skills.Experience working on client sites is advantageous.
