Barden are delighted to lead the search for a prestigious PLC headquartered in Dublin, to support the appointment of an Interim Head of Group Finance for a 15 month contract duration.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious senior finance professional to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, renowned for its innovation and leadership within the industry.
About the Role
You will be a key member of the finance leadership team, responsible for leading the external and internal financial reporting of the Group.
You will lead a high-performing group finance team, ensuring robust financial governance, strategic planning, and insightful analysis to support the company's growth and success.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the financial reporting team and ensure high performance and engagement.
Oversee preparation of Group financial statements and statutory accounts for timely LSE compliance.
Advise on complex accounting issues to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
Drive key finance projects and deliver monthly consolidated reports for executive and board review.
Promote sustainability, diversity, and strong data governance across finance operations.
Manage a high performing team
About the person:
Qualified Accountant with at least 8 years PQE.
Proven track record in a senior group finance leadership role within a large PLC.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance & tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to professionals along each step of their career journey.
