Barden are delighted to lead the search for a prestigious PLC headquartered in Dublin, to support the appointment of an Interim Head of Group Finance for a 15 month contract duration.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious senior finance professional to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, renowned for its innovation and leadership within the industry.

About the Role

You will be a key member of the finance leadership team, responsible for leading the external and internal financial reporting of the Group. You will lead a high-performing group finance team, ensuring robust financial governance, strategic planning, and insightful analysis to support the company's growth and success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial reporting team and ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Oversee preparation of Group financial statements and statutory accounts for timely LSE compliance.
  • Advise on complex accounting issues to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
  • Drive key finance projects and deliver monthly consolidated reports for executive and board review.
  • Promote sustainability, diversity, and strong data governance across finance operations.
  • Manage a high performing team

About the person:

  • Qualified Accountant with at least 8 years PQE.
  • Proven track record in a senior group finance leadership role within a large PLC.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
