We provide a full range of design, construction and commissioning services and are active across many sectors including Renewables, Gas Networks, Water, Energy & Utilities, and Asset Management.

We understand that natural gas, biomethane and hydrogen all have a key role in transitioning to low carbon and achieving zero carbon.
Greening of gas networks will be fundamental for supporting intermittent renewable energy sources.
Our Gas Networks design team are delivering projects in areas such as Biogas from Anaerobic Digestion, Carbon Capture, Hydrogen and Biomethane for grid injection and transport.
Expertise in these areas will be key for the future as they provide unique and complex challenges that requires highly technical and specialised engineering solutions.

PositionThe Role…. Planner – REF: 2515
The Planner will work with Fingleton White's with project delivery teams across all areas of our business.
Some of the responsibilities for the role are as follows:
Co-ordination with project teams to determine legislative requirements for new projects such as requirements for Planning, Fire Safety Certificate, Disability Access Certificate, consents, BCAR etc.Environmental screening and co-ordination of further inputs such as engineers reports and 3 party assessments.Stakeholder ManagementObtaining consentsPlanning process including pre-planning, application, response to RFIs and addressing any objections or appeals.Management of FW processes, templates, and training within the area of legislative complianceThe successful applicant will receive, in parallel to project work, guidance & training to familiarise them with our company's approach to Legislative Compliance.
The location for this role will be in our Cork office, however we will also consider applications for our Galway and Portlaoise offices.
RequirementsThe Candidate…. The ideal candidate will have:
A relevant qualification in Planning, Development and Environment &/or commensurate industry experience with an alternative qualification.Other relevant qualifications pertaining to our company's field of work would also be considered in selection.2+ years' experience in a similar roleExcellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.Fluent written and spoken English is essential.Full clean driving license.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.Other informationWhat we offer….
