Overview
An excellent opportunity to join a
leading global professional services firm
as a
Payroll Administrator
on an 18-month fixed-term contract.
This role is part of the internal payroll team, supporting payroll operations across multiple entities and ensuring delivery of a high-quality payroll service in line with local legislation and company policies.
The successful candidate will be involved in the full payroll life cycle, supporting both BAU (business-as-usual) payroll activities and special projects, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.
Core Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Administration
Collate and prepare all inputs in advance of payroll deadlines
Support end-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities
Process monthly PAYE submissions on ROS
Manage voluntary deductions (health insurance, Credit Union, etc.), including updates and reconciliations
Employee Support & Queries
Respond to employee requests and queries via the internal ticketing platform
Escalate complex queries when necessary
Maintain excellent employee service standards
Compliance & Controls
Ensure payroll compliance with GDPR and internal policies
Maintain a high level of confidentiality across all payroll activities
Support payroll audits and process reviews
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Assist payroll peers with special projects related to payroll function
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
Collaborate closely with HR and Finance to ensure smooth payroll operations
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
IPASS qualification (essential)
End-to-end payroll processing experience
Experience with MegaPay desirable but not essential
Technical Skills
Strong Excel skills, including data validation and analysis
Experience managing high volumes of payroll data
Familiarity with HR/Finance systems such as Workday is an advantage
