About The Role:
Overall Purpose of the Role
Support the Operations team to ensure the profitable, efficient, and safe operation of contracts within the company.
Provide quality service delivery to all clients in accordance with company procedures.
Assist and support existing business while achieving relevant growth targets for new work.
Health & Safety Purpose: Take a direct interest in the health and safety of yourself, your colleagues, and others who may be affected by your work activities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
Ensure a safe working environment through compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures, measured through audits.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including use of all internal systems.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels with necessary skills, providing training and development to ensure competence.
Handle HR issues appropriately and within set timescales.
Complete and submit monthly QA reports with clients within set timescales.
Adhere to monthly KPIs and reporting requirements.
Respond to site requests promptly.
Address requests from the Operations team and Director of Security in a timely manner.
Assist other parts of the business as required.
Work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
Engage with clients effectively to maintain strong relationships.
Health & Safety Duties
Communicate regularly with staff on safety matters to ensure high morale and safety awareness.
Reflect a positive safety image through your actions and those of your subordinates.
Ensure all staff are properly trained and acknowledge their safety responsibilities.
Produce and communicate safe systems of work prior to activities.
Maintain and ensure plant and equipment are fit for purpose.
Manage and supervise work activities effectively.
Manage occupational road risk for drivers under your control.
Monitor safety performance and enforce disciplinary actions for breaches.
Group Safety Support:
Work closely with the Group Health and Safety team to implement safety initiatives within your areas.
Experience
Security management experience in a multi-site/service sector environment (essential).
Security QQI Level 6 or above/equivalent (desirable).
Proven track record in delivering effective customer service while maintaining margins.
Previous experience in similar roles (essential).
Experience managing multiple client sites.
Personal Characteristics/Attributes
Self-motivated, results-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
Ability to mentor, develop, and coach staff.
Interest in personal development and career progression.
