Overview
Senior BizOps Engineer.
The Decision management BizOps team is looking for a Senior BizOps Engineer who can help us solve problems, build our CI/CD pipeline and lead Mastercard in DevOps automation and best practices.
Responsibilities
Be the production readiness steward for Mastercard products, ensuring platform stability and health.
Partner with developers to design, build, implement, and support technology services, ensuring operational criteria such as availability, capacity, performance, monitoring, self-healing, and deployment automation are in place.
Support daily operations with a focus on triage and root cause analysis, understand the business impact of products, and conduct blameless post-mortems.
Lead the DevOps transformation by promoting tooling, standards, and change across development, quality, release, and product organizations.
Balance proactive operational improvements with efficient, pragmatic delivery to maximize customer experience and application value.
Work across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs and build strong cross-functional relationships.
Technical areas
Site Reliability Engineering: ensure scalability, performance, and resilience; automate incident response; establish SLOs and reliability improvements.
DevOps/Automation: improve the full service lifecycle from design to deployment; promote CI/CD automation and operational gating.
ITSM Practices: analyze platform ITSM activities and provide feedback on operational gaps and resiliency.
All About You
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Coding and/or scripting exposure; interest in automation and modernizing infrastructure.
Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
Strong problem-solving, communication, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
Willingness to work in a matrix-based, geographically distributed team and balance thoroughness with speed.
Ability to monitor for anomalies and ensure expected system behavior is understood across teams.

Report any suspected information security violations or breaches; complete periodic mandatory security trainings.
