Company DescriptionWe are SGS – the world's leading testing, inspection and certification company.We are recognized as the global benchmark for sustainability, quality and integrity.Our 99,600 employees operate a network of 2,650 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.SGS are seeking a a full-time Booking Line Agent to join our Galway office to support our NDLS customers on a fixed term contract.Reporting to the Operations Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for answering call/queries in a timely manner while meeting KPI's and SLA's.Job DescriptionEnsure all calls received are answered in a timely and professional manner.Complete all NDLSFO duties and responsibilities in accordance with relevant procedures and performance agreement.Process bookings & cancellations for NDLS CustomersEnsure the Data Protection is always adhered to as per the 8 Principles of Data ProtectionEnsure a full understanding of SOP's and ScriptsEnsure all agreed operational procedures & scripts are strictly complied with.Manage confidential information securely and in line with Records Management and Data Protection PoliciesLead by example and demonstrate SGS values.Maintain and ensure good employee relations.Complete daily administrationEnsure full compliance with the Company's Code of Integrity & Professional ConductPresent a professional image of the company through personal grooming and presentationAt all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and clients, in line with the Company's policies and proceduresEnsure full compliance with the Company's Code of Integrity, and act in accordance with SGS Ireland's Equality & Diversity PolicyQualificationsLeaving certificate or equivelentAdditional InformationComputer literateExcellent communication skills – both verbal and writtenAbility to multitask and work under pressureEffective interpersonal skills at all levelsAbility to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work under own initiative and as part of a team.Expected BehavioursIntegrity, flexibility, working under own initiativeProfessionalism; with the client, contractors and colleagues at all timesCompliance with SGS policies and proceduresTeam player
