About the job
As the Site Engineering Manager, you will lead, coach, and mentor the engineering team to maximize equipment and process efficiencies.
This includes minimizing unplanned equipment downtime through proactive and predictive maintenance programs.
Key Responsibilities
Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing, diverse team of engineering professionals.
Partner with the Senior Leadership Team to implement site and global engineering strategies.
Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent product availability and alignment with production planning.
Drive continuous improvement to support Operational Excellence and improved financial performance.
Define and deliver the engineering vision and strategic objectives for the site.
Ensure Health & Safety compliance along with Environmental and Energy Sustainability Programs within the engineering function.
Cultivate senior-level relationships to resolve issues, deliver cost savings, and implement value-added processes that support Maintenance Excellence Program (MEP) goals.
Identify and implement engineering-related continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related science discipline.
10+ years of experience in engineering management, preferably within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
5+ years of experience in people management with a demonstrated ability to develop talent and provide strategic leadership.
