Job Title: Part Qualified / Newly qualified Financial AccountantCompany:Ocean Crest Marine Limited have over 20 years' experience as a marine plant hire partner in the civil engineering field.Our expertise lies in providing a diverse range of marine plant for charter to the civil engineering field.We provide a range of Jack up barges, Spud barges, and Support boats for every situation.Job Overview:Ocean Crest Marine (OCM) have an opening for a part qualified / newly qualified financial accountant.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who has recently qualified or has previous experience working in a finance department.The role offers broad exposure to core financial accounting processes including month-end close, statutory reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.Key Responsibilities:· Perform general administrative and data entry tasks.· Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate bookkeeping· Bank reconciliations· Supplier reconciliations· Manage fixed asset register· Assist with month end reporting· Prepare customer invoices· Compile information requested from external auditors· Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations· Ad-hoc administrative / office dutiesExperience / Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and problem-solving skills
