Our client is a leading Irish Contractor with projects throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
They have successfully completed projects across sectors including Data Centres, Hospitality, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, and Pharmaceuticals.
Are you a senior EHS Manager ready to advance your career?
Our client requires a Regional Health and Safety Manager responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs across projects in the Leinster region.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety, a passion for ensuring a safe working environment, and the ability to lead a team to achieve safety goals.
Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring the Company's EHS Management System on assigned projects.
Promote a positive health and safety culture on-site with site management, contractors, and workers, fostering continuous safety improvement.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to address safety concerns and develop solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
Requirements
Recognized Health and Safety Degree or Diploma.
Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
At least 10 years of industry experience.
Previous construction experience (Pharma, Data Centre, Hi-Tech, Commercial) preferred.
Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in construction.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
