At this exciting stage in our company's growth, we are looking for a Financial Assistant to
assist
the CFO with the preparation of the Group accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain
records of financial transactions by
establishing
accounts
,
posting transactions
,
and ensuring
legal requirements compliance.
Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Maintain historical records by filing documents.
Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Comply with Irish, UK and US (federal, state, and local) legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Process payments, invoices, income and receipts, and enter data into accounting software or databases; file hard copies.
Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances.
Complete VAT / Sales Tax returns.
Verify the accuracy of business accounts and alert the CFO of errors.
Record any inconsistencies to help the CFO reconcile inaccuracies.
Manage employee expense claims.
Assist the CFO with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in
A
ccounting,
F
inance
or related field
.
Knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAA, and IFRS.
Proficient in MS Office 365.
Strong office administration background and thoroughness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Positive, can-do attitude with passion, energy, and a strong work ethic.
Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong team player working collaboratively across all levels.
Bookkeeping experience is preferred.
CPA certification is a plus.
Experience working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas is a plus.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
