OverviewICT Services are currently seeking a Desktop Support Engineer, working on one of our customer sites in Limerick.This is a full-time position working onsite with our customer.ICT is Ireland's leading company in IT field services, rollouts, and support.With a team of over 100 experts, we deliver services across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.For over 25 years, we've been atrusted IT services providerto global clients such as Dell, Cisco, Aldi, Johnson & Johnson, and more.We are looking for an experiencedDeployment Technicianto join our team for an upcoming project in thecounties of Donegal, Mayo, Sligo, Roscommon, and Galway.About the ProjectThis project involves replacing all technical equipment in the offices of an Irish government institution.It's a contract-based role lasting 5 – 7 months, with apart-time schedule ******** working days per month).You'll needaccess to your own carfor daily travel.RequirementsExperience in hardware setup or basic IT supportFormal PC hardware service training or similar certificationsValid driving licenseProficiency in desktop support and current Windows operating systemsAttention to detail and task completionDutiesTravel to customer sites (you must be comfortable traveling daily)Uninstall old tech devices (e.g., PCs, laptops, printers, etc.)Install and set up new devicesEnsure all devices are properly connected and functioningPerform basic testing to confirm successful deploymentFollow a checklistWhat you will gainHands-on experience in a large-scale government rolloutOpportunities to work with a seasoned, supportive teamOngoing professional development throughout the project#J-*****-Ljbffr
