Role Overview
ATG are working with a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based in Limerick, providing high-quality design and project delivery services across the building, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join a growing team.
Responsibilities
Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for civil, structural, and infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to produce detailed design drawings.
Assist in the development and management of project documentation and drawing registers.
Maintain drawing standards and ensure consistency across all projects.
Coordinate with external consultants and contractors when required.
Participate in project meetings and contribute to design coordination.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a CAD Technician role within an engineering or construction consultancy.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
Experience with Revit, Civil 3D, or other BIM software is a strong advantage.
Relevant qualification in CAD, drafting, or engineering (Level 6 or above).
Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and detailing practices.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience working on Irish or UK engineering projects.
Familiarity with document control systems and file management.
Interest in continued learning and upskilling in BIM and digital design tools.
Salary & Location
Salary : €65,000 to €80,000 Per Annum
