Our client is a leading Irish Civil Contractor with projects throughout the Munster and Ireland
Quantity Surveyor with 4-5 years experience working with civil contractors is required to join the commercial team.
Reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the Cost Management of one or more projects
Project procurement including issuing tender queries, preparation of tender reports and appointments in line with construction program to ensure delivery of project on time and on budget
Preparing monthly project payment applications and cost reports
Monitoring of project costs and agreeing variations with Design Team
Reporting monthly to senior management on the financial performance of individual projects
Requirements
Degree level in Quantity Surveying
4 + years quantity surveying experience on Civils Projects
Previous projects experience with main contractors desired
Chartered or working towards chartership
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
Package
Salary €55- 75K and negotiable dependent on experience
