About the Role We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor (CSA) to support the delivery of various projects within budget.
Reporting to the Project Controls Department Manager, this role offers exposure to diverse industries and project phases, including conceptual studies, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Be part of something impactful join us Key Responsibilities The Quantity Surveyor will work within the Project Controls Team, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
Key responsibilities include: Cost & Contract Management Prepare cost plans, budget estimates, and cost reports throughout all project phases, from concept development through commissioning.
Oversee contract preparation, commercial analysis, and award recommendations for CSA contracts.
Manage contract administration, including reporting, assessing variations, progress measurement, and agreement of final accounts.
Estimating & Tendering Prepare tender enquiry packages for CSA contracts and analyse contractor bids.
Support procurement teams with material take-offs and vendor selection.
Earned Value & Scheduling Provide input into earned value progress measurement during the design phase.
Collaborate on the preparation of project schedules and construction progress reporting.
Data & Benchmarking Gather and retain historic data to benchmark project metrics for future planning.
The successful candidate will work on projects within Pharmaceutical, Food, and Heavy Industrial sectors, gaining experience across the following phases: Conceptual Studies Detail Engineering & Procurement Construction Commissioning & Qualification Close Out & Handover Required Education, Experience & Skills Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in Project Controls or Project Quantity Surveying.
Technical Skills Proficiency in tools such as Cost X, Build Soft, Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, and Power Point.
Knowledge of scheduling or procurement is advantageous but not required.
Key Attributes Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
