OverviewWe're hiring aSenior Electrical Design Engineerto join a respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy delivering complex industrial and energy projects across Ireland and Europe.This is a hands-on technical and leadership role where you'll manage design delivery, coordinate with clients and project teams, and lead junior engineers in producing high-quality electrical designs from concept to completion.Ideal for an experienced engineer ready to take ownership of major projects in power generation, data centres, industrial manufacturing, and food & beverage sectors.About the RoleLocation: DublinSalary: €75,000 - €85,000 DOEContract: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours/week)Work pattern: Office-based Monday-Thursday, with optional work-from-home on FridaysBenefits: VHI and pension contributions after successful 6-month probationKey ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinateelectrical designon industrial projects, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.Collaborate directly with clients and project engineers to define requirements and develop innovative, compliant technical solutions.Act aselectrical lead or project lead, ensuring design quality, programme, and client satisfaction.Represent the company inclient meetings, tenders, and technical workshopsat senior level.Mentor and manage a small team of engineers, overseeing deliverables and training needs.Develop and reviewspecifications, cable calculations, schematics, wiring diagrams, loop sheets, and tender packs.DesignMV/LV electrical systems, including MCCs, distribution boards, cable systems, earthing, and protection schemes usingSKM PTWandTrimble / Amtech.Participate inconstructability and safety reviewsand carry outsite surveys, inspections, and sign-offas required.Prepare and coordinate electrical models and drawings inAutoCADandRevit / BIM.Ensure best-practice standards, safety, and quality across all design deliverables.About YouDegree inElectrical Engineering(Chartered Engineer status preferred).10+ years'proven experience in industrial electrical design and project delivery.Advanced user ofAutoCADandRevit / BIM.Experience withSKM PTWand/orTrimble Amtechdesign software.Strong technical background inMV / LV distribution, generators, UPS systems, lightning protection, earthing & bonding, and control networking.Solid understanding ofCIBSE/Ashrae Guides, Building Regulations, IEC / EN Standards, and applicable electrical codes.Demonstrated experience producing protection studies, discrimination analysis, short-circuit, and arc-flash reports.Excellent problem-solver with ability to applyvalue-engineeringand introduce new technologies.Fluent spoken and excellent written English- essential and non-negotiable.Professional, organised, and collaborative team leader with strong communication skills.What's on OfferSalary €75,000 - €85,000 DOEVHI and pension after 6 months' probation37.5-hour working weekFlexible Fridays (optional WFH)Exposure to major industrial, power, and data-centre projects across Ireland and EuropeOpportunity togrow a teamand progress into departmental leadershipHow to Apply: ClickApply Nowto submit your CV.All applications are handled in strict confidence.Crewit Resourcing are acting as an Employment Agency and Business.By applying for this role you are agreeing to our privacy policy and to be contacted about other roles that may be suitable for you.You can unsubscribe at any time.#J-*****-Ljbffr
