About the role
My client works closely with real estate clients to deliver tailored debt financing solutions.
The team supports developers, investors, and asset managers in securing funding for a wide range of needs, including acquisitions, developments, refinancing, and capital restructuring.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end advisory engagements for real estate clients, including strategy development, lender engagement, and transaction execution.
Structure financing solutions for real estate developments, acquisitions, and portfolio refinancing across sectors such as residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use.
Build and review complex financial models, including development appraisals and multi-tenant income structures.
Prepare high-quality transaction materials and marketing documents for presentation to lenders and investors.
Perform credit analysis and assess market conditions to support funding recommendations.
Negotiate term sheets and financing agreements with banks, alternative lenders, and institutional investors.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, senior lenders, mezzanine financiers, and equity partners.
Support business development through pitch work, relationship building, and deal origination.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge development and best practices.
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years' experience in real estate debt advisory, structured finance, real estate banking, or corporate finance.
Strong financial modelling skills with the ability to build detailed real estate models from the ground up.
Experience in multi-tenant cash flow modelling and complex rental income analysis.
In-depth knowledge of real estate capital structures, including senior debt, mezzanine, preferred equity, and common equity.
Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in client and lender-facing roles.
