Project Engineer–E&I - Ireland, Cork - 12 Months Initial Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility in Cork.
You will be joining a leading Biopharmaceutical company who focus on a range of products which are life-changing for individuals.
Our client is currently seeking Project Engineer – E&I.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and Participate in Design, Construction and C&Q activities on site.
Lead projects for facility modifications and capital equipment procurement.
Assist the Capital Projects Manager in the planning and tracking of activities.
Liaise with the various stakeholders on the projects to ensure clear communication between all parties.
Provide technical process support to the project team throughout the project life cycle.
Generate and execute Commissioning & Qualification activities if there is a requirement.
Generate change controls on Electronic QMS and drive their closure in a timely manner.
Review turnover documentation from vendors.
Direct supervision of vendor engineers and contractors during engineering works on single or multiple capital projects.
Use of Permit to Work system or other safety systems of work to control engineering activities.
Management of capital and cost benefit analysis.
Participation in HAZOP and design reviews.
Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals and handover documentation.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience in Capital project execution and delivery.
Extensive knowledge in E&I Design and installation.
Experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech sectors.
Experience working in large teams.
Experience with Fire Alarm, Access Control, Lighting, BMS and general services design and handover.
