You want to be part of the exciting Dublin specialty coffee shop scene, but you would like to find some place with an extra touch of soul?At FRÈD CAFÉ FRANÇAIS, we have a thrilling job for you.We are seeking an experienced candidate to join our team as a barista / all rounder.The job is mainly located at our Dun Laoghaire branch (96 Georges street lower) but please note that you could be required to take 1 shift per week in our Dublin 2 branch (26 Nassau street).This position is definitely for a hospitality professional willing to commit on a long term.Full time (5 shifts per week)Week-end availability requestedDay shifts only (clock-out around 7pm max)Your responsibilitiesTaking part to all the core tasks (barista, cooking, waitering, cleaning, opening or closing procedure, etc.) with a multitasking mindsetBeing part of a 2 to 4 people team per shiftApplying and enforcing all aspects of food hygiene and HACCP proceduresRequirementsWe're looking for someone with a barista experience who are also happy to take part to the food preparation (toasties, salads, etc.)A good level of spoken English is essential and we will be uncompromising on this aspect.And more important than anything, this job is definitely for someone with an energetic attitude.One more thing, to feel happy in this job, you must have a personality naturally eager to engage with customers and a genuine interest in simple but fine food cooking.After opening its doors in ****, FRÈD CAFÉ FRANÇAIS quickly became a destination shop for premium coffee and chocolate lovers.Renowned in South Dublin among the main players of the speciality coffee scene, we claim to be much more than that.Our place is primarily an elegant French café (Fred is French for real, not just for marketing...) offering authentic and gourmet French dishes like sweet crepes, viennoiseries, savoury crepes, quiches, cakes, etc.So, no matter the nationality, anyone eager to join the company must feel an affinity with refinement and "art de vivre".Do you think it's for you?If you wish to apply, please show your sincere interest in the position with a short COVER LETTER detailing your skills and motivations.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €***** per hourBenefits:Food allowanceExperience:Barista: 1 year (required)Work Location: In person
