Job Title: Bar SupervisorLocation: Dun LaoghaireHours: Full-time – across 7 daysAbout UsWe're a private members Yacht Club with a passion for great service and creating memorable experiences for our members.We're now looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Supervisor to help lead our team and keep service running smoothly.The RoleAs Bar Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of the action – supporting the management team, leading shifts, and ensuring our members receive the best service possible.You'll be a role model for the team, taking responsibility for the bar operation when required.Key Responsibilities:Supervising bar and floor staff during busy shiftsPreparing and serving a wide range of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)Taking and servicing food ordersDelivering excellent customer service in a busy environmentActing as a key holder – opening and closing the venue securelyLeading by example to deliver excellent food & drink serviceTraining, motivating, and supporting team membersMonitoring stock levels, restocking, and ensuring proper rotationHandling cash, till reconciliation, and banking proceduresMaintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and complianceDealing with customer queries and complaints professionallyWhat We're Looking For:Previous experience in a supervisory or senior bar roleKey holder experience with responsibility for opening/closing a venueStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a teamA hands-on approach and willingness to get stuck inExcellent customer service and communication skillsFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be fluent in both verbal and written EnglishMust have a valid work permit and be legally permitted to work in Ireland.If you're ready to take the next step in your hospitality career and thrive in a busy, social setting, we'd love to hear from youHow to Apply: Send your CV and cover note toJob Type: Full-timePay: From €***** per hourExpected hours: No less than 39 per weekAbility to commute/relocate:Dún Laoghaire, CO.Dublin: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Bar Service: 2 years (preferred)Language:English (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In personReference ID: Bar Person
