Mechanical Project Engineer
CREGG have an exciting new opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their Galway-based multinational medical device manufacturer.
Great opportunity for candidates who want to break in to the medical device sector.
Work/Life Balance
: 1 day work from home and a 1pm Friday finish
Responsibilities:
Works closely with customers to understand requirements and propose creative and cost-effective solutions regarding equipment builds.
Generates request for quotations for external suppliers for new and upgrade equipment.
Ensures Equipment requests are processed in a timely and effective fashion and manage execution of results.
Participates on cross-functional Design Reviews.
Understanding or knowledge of Project Management.
Document meetings and coordinate status reports and approvals on deliverables.
Manage multiple project activities whilst working with internal & external cross-functional groups.
Understand and adhere to project milestones & overall timelines set out.
Calculating time requirements and sequencing project elements.
Coordinates and prioritizes internal and vendor related activities as they pertain to service, maintenance, upgrades, etc.
Requirements
2+ years' experience.
Excellent analytical, system analysis and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of project management tools.
Ability to monitor schedule deviations and assist in the development of alternative methods for corrective action at the project level.
