Job Title:
Temporary Speech and Language Therapist
Location:
Children's Disability Network, Tallaght
Shift pattern:
Day shift
Work pattern:
Monday - Friday
Hours:
35 hours per week
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child\'s unique needs.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and educators, to deliver holistic care.
Provide training and support to families and caregivers to enhance communication strategies at home.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with professional standards and organizational policies.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
Current registration with CORU
Experience working with children with disabilities, preferably in a multidisciplinary setting.
Strong assessment and intervention skills in speech, language, and communication disorders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of a dynamic work environment.
Must be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following:
EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
