About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join the multidisciplinary team at our client in an acute setting based in Louth . This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic acute hospital environment, providing assessment, diagnosis, and intervention to patients with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders.
Key Responsibilities of the Speech and Language Therapist:
Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to inpatients and outpatients.
Assess, diagnose, and treat adults with communication and/or swallowing difficulties.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Participate in service development and clinical audit as required.
Essential Requirements for the Speech and Language Therapist:
A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Experience in acute hospital or medical settings.
Dysphagia training and experience.
