We are seeking a Project Controls Lead to join our dynamic team delivering major infrastructure programmes across Ireland.
This is a pivotal role for a driven professional who thrives on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of governance and performance.
The Role:
As Project Controls Lead, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of project controls systems and processes across complex infrastructure projects.
You will work closely with project managers, planners, cost engineers, and stakeholders to ensure robust planning, cost control, risk management, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and maintenance of integrated project schedules and cost plans.
Oversee performance measurement, forecasting, and reporting across all project phases.
Implement and manage earned value management (EVM) systems and tools.
Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities.
Ensure alignment with client requirements and governance frameworks.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Mentor and support junior project controls staff.
Requirements:
Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in project controls leadership on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost systems.
Proficiency in earned value management and performance reporting.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in rail, utilities, or transport infrastructure is highly desirable.
