* You'll hold the Pre-Approval Controlled Function responsibility (PCF-52) under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness & Probity regime and will lead a cross-functional team to ensure the execution of our anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance obligations.
* You'll be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and enhancing the AML compliance program in your region to keep up with developments & best practices.
* You will work with the board and senior management and will be expected to proactively escalate any issues resulting from monitoring or tracking to the executives.
* Your responsibilities could expand over time should the business increase its product offerings or other business initiatives.
**Role Requirements*** Substantial European AML/CFT or regulatory financial services compliance experience and in-depth knowledge of consumer retail or financial services products.
Your experience will need to be from either a complex retail, consumer finance, or payments services organization.
Alternatively, it will be from a regulatory agency or law firm specializing in money transfer or payments services compliance issues.
* We require a strong leader with excellent organizational skills who possesses the ability to hold high ethical standards.
* You'll need to have the ability to operate in a highly complex and dynamic organization and have the ability to be detail-oriented, as well as the ability to see the bigger picture to ensure compliance is aligned with business strategy.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills are a must, as you will be expected to build long-term relationships internally and externally on trust & respect.
* You will work with a diverse range of stakeholders from business leaders, regulators, and authorities from around the globe and must be comfortable with this.
* You will need to demonstrate previous experience in engaging, advising, and influencing the senior business and risk executives.
