Fitzwilliam Lawn Tennis Club, one of Irelands' premier private member's clubs, is recruiting for a full-time receptionist for a fixed term (maternity cover) to work in our busy Front Office department.We require a front-facing team member who is self-motivated, customer-focused & enjoys ensuring that members & their guests receive a warm welcome each time they visit the club.Friendliness & professionalism are core principles upon which the club's service ethos is built.The advertised role is full time comprising of morning and evening shifts over a 7-day roster.The ideal candidate must:Be a fluent English speakerBe chatty, member-focused and courteousHave a natural ability to explain concepts, queries, and instructionsBe able to multi-task in a busy environmentIdeally have experience within the hospitality industryBe alert and have well developed observation skillsBe fluent in a digital environment – software and computer skillsAvailable to work a rotation of shifts including daytime, evenings and weekendsAuthorised to work full time in Ireland - the company isn't offering visa/sponsorship or relocation packages for this roleDuties and Responsibilities of the RoleThe role includes but is not limited to:Greeting members and their guestsAnswering and directing telephone calls using correct salutations and telephone etiquetteResponding to member queries via telephone, email and in personProcessing all member booking and event requests, changes and cancellationsOperate ESP Point of Sale and Member databaseMonitoring access to the clubManage event, court and class booking systems for sports and catering eventsBalance end of shift and end of dayMaintaining a thorough knowledge of:Club Rules and Bye LawsAll facilities/services, hours of operation and availabilityThe layout of all facilities and how to access themRestricted access dates/timesAll Club eventsSkills and Experience:MS Word and Excel skills essentialGeneral computer proficiencyExcellent communication, organisational and administration skillsFlexible and pro-active attitudeExperience working in a busy, people-oriented environment.Benefits:Meals on dutyTraining & developmentAnnual BonusBike to work schemeStaff events throughout the yearEmployee Assistance ProgramWork Location: In personJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From €***** per hourLanguage:English (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: In person
