Clinical Nurse Manager II – Cardiac Cath Lab (Full time/Permanent Contract)
Applications are invited for the above position in our Cath Lab.
Qualifications
Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI, and hold a current NMBI PIN (essential)
Have 5 years post registration experience in an acute setting, with a minimum of 3 years of this in a Cardiac Cath Lab (essential)
Completed a management-training programme and/or have management experience.

Have a recognised qualification within the speciality (desirable)
Have completed a management training programme (desirable)
Have proven clinical and professional ability
Have good IT skills with proficiency in the use of all relevant applications.
Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on his/her own initiative.
Have excellent communication skills with the ability to positively engage with patients and staff.
Be enthusiastic and highly motivated.
Have a proven ability to work under pressure
Have evidence of commitment to professional development.
Have an ability to deal with staff at all levels within the organisation
Have excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
An ability to deal with staff at all levels within the organisation.
Competency in the English language is a requirement for the post.
The ability to analyse, report on and effect change in nursing practice.
A sound knowledge of procedures and protocols in operational matters.
A proven ability to work under pressure and use initiative
The ability to anticipate trends, identify opportunities and forward plan for service developments.
A working knowledge of risk management, clinical audit and Human Resource Practices.
