Company Description PG Risk Services is a consultancy firm located in Dublin, specialist in risk management. Our services focus on implementing and improving risk management processes in large infrastructure construction projects, from concept to hand-over. Role Description This is a full-time role as a Risk Engineer at PG Risk Services. The Risk Engineer will be responsible for supporting risk management activities in a large offshore wind project, including: Design, set-up and facilitation of workshops for risk identification and mitigation with subject matter experts. Documenting risks in a risk register using risk metalanguage so that risks can be understood by all stakeholders. Challenging risk information to enhance the quality of risk data so that it is robust, stands up to scrutiny and is reflective of the project environment. Performing Quantitative Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis activities (QSRA/QCRA) and interpreting the outputs to determine where focus should be applied to benefit the project. Preparing monthly risk reports. This role is based in Dublin with flexibility for some remote work. Experience Experience in a professional environment including significant exposure in the project risk management discipline. Knowledge of industry standards and guidance related to risk management (ISO 31000, APM PRAM Guide, etc). Able to build risk models in a number of applications (e.g. @Risk, Safran Risk), which accurately represent the complexities of cost and schedule risk. Proficiency in excel and experience with VBA. Experience with PowerBI a plus. Experience in Offshore Wind Energy a plus. Qualifications and Certifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field. Certifications in risk management are a plus. Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
