Required for leading residential developer who are active on several sites nationwide.
Overview
Responsible for producing, managing, and monitoring detailed construction programmes using Asta Powerproject.
The planner will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed construction programmes for housing developments using Asta Powerproject.
Work closely with the Construction Director, Project Managers, Site Managers, Design, and Commercial teams to align programmes with design, procurement, and build strategies.
Sequence works logically, incorporating lead times, procurement schedules, statutory approvals, and utilities coordination specific to Irish residential projects.
Identify critical paths, key milestones, and potential risks, proposing mitigation strategies where needed.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to validate lead times and integrate them into the programme.
Strong technical understanding of the Irish housebuilding process – from greenfield site to handover, including groundworks, utilities, timber frame/traditional build, and fit-out.
Knowledge of Irish construction regulations, planning requirements, and BCAR (Building Control Amendment Regulations)
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in planning within residential construction.
