Staff Grade Occupational TherapistEnable Ireland is seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to join their Children's Disability Network Team (CDNT).This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide direct, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children and families while contributing to an interdisciplinary, family-centred approach to care.About Enable IrelandEnable Ireland is a non-profit organisation that provides vital therapy and support services to children and adults with disabilities and their families.Through the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model, their Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) deliver family-centred services that empower children and young people with complex needs to achieve their full potential.Enable Ireland, as an equal opportunities employer, proudly maintains a Silver Award in Diversity from the Irish Centre for Diversity.We vigorously advocate for fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion, and engagement, and are dedicated to ongoing enhancement in these areas.Role OverviewAs a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a range of high-quality occupational therapy services to children and young people (0–18 years) and their families.Working within a dynamic interdisciplinary framework, you will deliver assessments and interventions through a family-centred approach.This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, with structured supervision and continuous development.Your work will span various settings, including clinics, schools, homes, and the community.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage a caseload, providing assessments and interventions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.Take a key role in setting and achieving goals with service users and their families.Maintain high-quality clinical records and documentation in line with professional standards.Contribute to overall service planning and development.Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including families and other agencies.Participate in mandatory training and continuous professional development.Act as a mandated person under the Children First National Guidelines, upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical practice.Promote a safe and inclusive working environment, supporting risk management and HIQA standards.Qualifications & ExperienceEssential Criteria:Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.ANDProvide proof of Statutory Registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.ANDBe eligible to work in the state.Valid driving licence for within the state / jurisdiction with access to own transfer in order to delivery services across a large geographical area.On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU.Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland.Desirable Criteria:Postgraduate experience of working with children and families in a community based setting.Post graduate experience working in disability services for a minimum of 6 months.Broad knowledge of the Progressing Disability Services for children and young people programme.Experience of working on interdisciplinary teams.What's on OfferCompetitive Salary:€59,662 -
